Everyone I know has Las Vegas on their bucket-list. It’s a place that seems to peak curiosity in everyone and if you haven’t been you really must! There are some world famous resort casino and hotels here like the fountain jeweled Bellagio or the lavishly garish Venetian-Palazzo. But there are plenty of other casino hotels well worth checking out in Las Vegas. Often better located, better priced and a little bit more stylish than the over the top casinos everyone has heard of.
Why have one Wynn when you can have two? Opening in 2008 the Wynn Encore is both decedent and stylish with some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. No expense was spared when it first opened its doors and ever since it has built a name for itself as a party venue for those with youth and energy. The massive theatre of the Wynn sits between the old and new Wynn hotels and but the real lure here is the roof top pool which doubles as its club too. This is the place for the bold and beautiful to party at the Encore Beach Club and check out some of the best views of Vegas too. Definitely the place I like to go after a tough day losing all my money in the Casino. You’ll fin the Wynn and Wynn Encore on Las Vegas Boulevard South at 3131 and 3121. Aria at CityCenter
Somehow the Aria casino hotel gets lost within the unbelievably big 67 acre CityCenter shopping and leisure complex. Hard to believe really as it has over 4,000 bedrooms, a theatre and casino too. Inside the casino you’ll find plenty of fountains and other water features along with impressive sculptures and lavish decorations. You’ll also find a whopping 16 restaurants to choose from and you rather get the impression the owners of CityCenter don’t want you to ever leave the complex! You’ll find CityCenter and the Aria casino hotel at 3730 Las Vegas Boulevard with very reasonable room rates too at around $129. It may not be the most high profile of Vegas hotels but it does offer everything you need for the ultimate Vegas experience. Check out arialasvegas.com for more information.
There’s definitely a very different feel to the Cosmopolitan compared to other casino resorts in Las Vegas. This is by no means one of those “mega casino resorts” hosting world record beating numbers of rooms, instead you get refined style, almost quiet confidence and almost a retaliation against the plastic and neon that Las Vegas has become renowned for. Of course this is still a huge hotel by most standards around the world, boasting just short of 3,000 hotel rooms. Most of the rooms here have fantastic views of the strip which really come alive during sunset. You’ll find some fantastic and stylish bars here that feel much more exclusive than most hotel bars on the strip, there’s even a Library here with pool tables and books on Vegas history for you to browse. The style here is definitely one of restraint and modern living. Quite the opposite to many hotels. So if you’re looking for something that flies in the face of all that Vegas has become, it much just be the best place for you. Rooms are around $160 and you’ll find the Cosmopolitan at 3708 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Check out cosmopolitanlasvegas.com for more information.
