Bali is a paradise island, making it the perfect wedding venue. A wedding here offers an intimate affair, with a picture perfect backdrop of white sands and clear blue oceans. Any trip to Bali is breathtaking and deeply spiritual giving your special day the greatest atmosphere. Weddings here on the beach are usually small, intimate affairs and it’s such a heavenly destination, that it also makes the perfect place to honeymoon on. Many of Bali’s hotels offer wedding packages to marry within their grounds and at hotels such as Nusa Dua Beach Hotel or St Regis Bali Resort that also means a luxurious beachfront wedding.

Before you travel, you’ll need to visit your local Registrar of Marriage to obtain a Certificate of No Impediments (CNI) to prove you are free to marry. Once you’ve arrived in Bali, you’ll then need a covering letter from the Honorary Consulate to verify your CNI.

A winter wedding is Lapland is a unique fairytale experience. Iceland’s landscape is breathtakingly beautiful, with its volcanos and glaciers and endless snow-covered land. Its culture is truly magical as it embraces its colder climate. There aren’t many people who can say that they’ve arrived pulled in on a sleigh by reindeer to take your vows inside an igloo! If an igloo sounds far too cold, why not get married in a Kota, a traditional wooden teepee. To end the perfect day, step outside to watch the night skies light up as the Northern Lights dance their way across the heavens. You can even take off on a trip chasing the lights for your honeymoon.
